visited this bar once in the last week of juy just gone, cracking little bar shame about the staff, the owners name is mandy i think, what a crabby narky manner she has and as for the blond girl working there she looks like the walking dead, no manner and not a bit friendly, give this pllacea wide bearth.

this is an awesome little Bar, I've been to costa about 8 or 9 times and always find myself at the "Snug Bar" the owner (Mandy) & all of the staff are really nice, the make you feel welcome and treat you in a way that you really need to go back, the entertainment is always top class and the beer flows freely, when you visit the lovely Lanzarote you must try this Bar and say hi to all from me...

Came across the snug whilst wondering around the resort, heard a irish comedian/singer who was hilarious , beer was good and staff were nice and friendly, we went back a few times just to see the funny irish man, if your open minded and not easily offended well worth a visit

My wife and I stopped off at the Snug for a couple of nights during our 2 week stay in Costa Teguise. All I can say is theyﾴre right about about the beer! On both occasions it just didnﾴt taste right and left us both feeling ill. We thought weﾴd just had a couple of ﾴoffﾴones on the first night but it happened again the following night. The folk singer was alright (even if some of the jokes he told were definitely NOT for the ears of our little ones!!). We might have popped in again before we left but decided we didn't want to be bored to death by the singers (missus?), who never stops talking. Does she work there? We couldn't tell! If you ever see a short, chubby woman with mad hair hovering about the place, turn and walk the other way!!! Quickly. Haha.

We have just come back from our 6th visit to Costa tequise. We went to the snug for two nights on the run and were really impressed, the staff, the singer, beer and sangria were all excellent. We went for the third night expecting the same good night and there was a new "singer" (I use the word singer in the loosest possible terms) who was more interested in telling really rubbish jokes that were barely intelligable because of his really strong accent. We put up with it hoping it would improve, but really didnt enjoy it. When he was there on night 4,5,6,7, and 8, doing exactly the same show word for word, we didn`t stay and didn`t go back along with a few more couples we met. Do yourselves a favour and get rid of him, he is costing you trade !!!

We found it excellent and the nights, short as young kids allowed them, were well humoured by Tom the artist. Great songs and a cosxy atmoshpere. I've heard the Green fields of France before but not with the passion!

i dont need to brush my teeth. believe me i like a pint or 6 more than anyone, and the ale in this place when we went was flat and like water. our opinion was it was crap. Enuff said.

I agree with this woman, the beer in this bar is top class, spanish/irish etc all tastes great!!! tip for anyone drink up, enjoy the lovelly surroundings, great bar staff and management. ( well said re toothpaste) tee hee The snug is best in lanzerote everyone

If the beer tasted bad in this bar i suggest that you brush your teeth, cause i like a beer ( or 20) and i found nothing wrong with any of it

tried the snug twice. great bar, shame about the ale......crap on both nites. gave it a miss after that.
