Was in CT with my 13yro daughter 1-11th May called in this bar every day and have to say Im surprised by some comments here.I found Dave and Beth to be very nice and polite and were very nice to everyone who went in the bar,on my first visit I thought I would feel awkward because Im English but this wasnt the case everyone was lovely.My daughter was made to feel welcome by everyone there.Will definately use this bar again in the future.

found this pub half way through our holiday, sorry we did. the people who own this and the staff are very rude to say the least.
seems there is a certain cleek that use this and are made very welcome, the rest of us who spend money are treated like something you would stand in. give this place a wide birth if you don't want to spoil your holiday.

Have been going to Costa Teguise for years now and always visit Scots & Wry the staff Dave his wife and son are not the most friendly people you have ever met it's like they are doing you a favour being there. It's a nice we bar but they should take some lessons in hospitality to all and not just the buddy's that hang around.

just back from Costa Teguise had an excellent time the wife and i.
went to scots and wry for our lunch, would not recommend this place. had to wait a lifetime for our meal to come, and when it did both dishes were cold. were i went wrong was i complained and thats when the staff turned nasty. in the end we paid and left very quickly. if you like a rough and ready pub from Glasgow well this is the place for you. this place is not family or child friendly.
please do not let this put you off costa teguise as there are some great places to eat, just not this one.
ps. nothing against Glasgow after all i was born there.

Scots & Wry brings back memories was there 06. seen a young man
being asked to leave by beth(think he had one to many but was causing no trouble) the offensive way she yelled at him was from the back streets. the bar men followed him out shouting obscenities at him and were about to give him a beating when his wife and children came along to stop them.
not a place i would recommend,this is the other side of the scots and wry. this is a fair account of what happened that day but don't
expect they will want people to read this.
